Your Journey Begins... Chapter 1
Join a herd as you live in the ranging and open plains of Montana. Horses are just beginning to arrive, and as space and herd places for everyone is competitive, a lone horse stalks the herds. He's been here for as long as anyone can remember, and he's known as the Ghostly Stallion. He's tried to be caught, but none ever succeed. All he wants is a herd to be with. But they say that anyone who ends up being in his herd, never return, never are seen again, only in the haunting dreams of the horses. And the only way he can be destroyed forever, is for someone to really open his heart. For someone to let him see what it's like to be a free horse again. Will you be the one to open his heart? Or will you be forced to join his herd of the dead? The ones who never return?
Weather
Fall has come upon the lands as the trees' leaves coat the forest grounds near the mountains. Herds begin to move north, into the mountains' shelters to keep safe during the harsh weather during the winter. Leaves change to a brilliant gold and red as the temperature cools. Dew coats the tall grasses in the morning and fog blankets the land. It won't be before long until winter moves in to find the horses.

Thick Forest Trees cover the land in this part of Alpine terrirtory, giving the horses shelter from bad weather. When heavy rains come, there is almost no flooding as the plants soak it up. Moderator: Alyssa
Flowing River This river often provides the horses with fresh, flowing water. Although the water is only knee height on an adult horse, it is a very fast moving current. During the flooding seasons, horses must be especially careful of flooding. Moderator: Alyssa

Moonshine Lake This lake is avalible for water all year round, and is also where mares come for foaling. The water is fresh but deep, and horses must be careful of drowning if they swim too far out. Trees shadow the banks, giving the foaling mares cover. Moderator: Alyssa

Open Plains This wide, open stretch of land is often where horses come for races. This is also where battling is held for mares and the lead role. Grasses are tall, but not the best for grazing as they are tough and thick. Moderator: Luna

Herd Camp This is the main place where the horses stay. A shallow river trickles through it with willow trees shading the water. This is where most horses come to drink and sleep. Moderator: Luna

Towering Mountains These mountains overshadow the tall grasses of the plains and give the horses cover in the winter. Although, any horse must be careful for cougars and bears linger in the shadows of the firs and pines collaring the mountain bases. Moderator: Luna

Wolf Forest This forest certainly earns its name as Wolf Forest. Packs of wolves linger in the shadows, waiting to pounce on their prey of young foals. Horses must be especially careful in the winter as the wolves are fast in the deep snow. Moderator: Luna
